it was worth its 4 stars. there's cicalone within 5 minutes walk or so, thoroughly enjoyed their menu. besides, we had free wi-fi.

Reception stuff was pleasant, comfy beds. Really centrally located hotel. Moreover, it was not too far from an open-air market and other sights in Florence. Lots of food for the buffet breakfast.

There is also piazza del duomo close to this hotel. Really VERY GOOD location. We would book again. Good sized rooms.
